Gosh I wish you would make these changes at the end of a term so we could have our classes ready for our students. I’d rather be evaluating my students’ work at this point in the term rather than all this updating of material that I had readied in August.

That said, I appreciate assistance today from HELP desk.

I have to disagree with these comments. It’s the fluff that drives the adoption and advancement of technology.

It’s perfectly illustrated in the home pc market: If all we did was what was necessary on a computer instead of what we LIKE to do (multimedia, 3D gaming, etc) then the pc would be many years behind where it is now in terms of speed & capability. It’s the early adopters, the people that like to play, that push technology further faster.

Are you willing to pay thousands of dollars to get an imperceptible speedjump in your spreadsheet? Probably not. But there are a LOT of folks out there that want More, Faster, Better for their 3D network games and HD entertainment.

Agreed. I want blackboard not bull info on my mobile. It is great you did this app but the main focus for school money in mobile should the academics not the other activities.

I think the functionality that everyone (at least students) wants out of these mobile apps is the ability to check announcements, grades, and email from blackboard.

Can you make that happen?

All the other stuff like maps, bull runner, is just fluff.

Unfortunately, not yet. That is changed in 9.1. Are plans for 9.1 are still nascent, but we probably won’t be upgrading to 9.1 until May 2011.

I am having issues with certain links on blackboard. most of my links for classes, grades, discussion boards, etc. have not been working. sometimes it takes me to the right spot but most times it is taking me back to the blackboard main login page. i have a test to take tomorrow and i am worried that this is going to be an issue during the test mainly because it is one question at a time. please help or advise were to get help! thanks

Hi,
Since the upgrade, whenever I try to access my email I get the warning “There is a problem with this website’s security certificate.” My email will only come up if I chose continue which it states is not recommended. Will you please correct this issue.
