Overriding Grades in certain situations result in error for students My Grades in that course

In some cases, when an instructor overrides a grade in which there is not yet an underlying grade, such as when an assignment is submitted, this causes an error for those students when trying to view My Grades.

The error looks reads
Error reading ‘grade’ on type blackboard.webapps.gradebook.student.StudentGradebookRow

We are working with Blackboard and expect a patch soon. We’ll update this article once a fix is in place.

    There is a problem with the discussion board grades in my Teaching Information Literacy Class. The grades from previous weeks have disappeared. Our professor said that she posted them and that we should ask the web gurus. Please help us.
